PARTNERSHIPS

IECO has agreements with the following organizations to provide its members with appropriate research training facilities and to contribute to the improvement of society and professionals through ethical reflection.

IECO is associated with the Humanistic Leadership Academy   which brings together different investigators, professionals and civil society leaders interested in promoting and practicing a humanistic leadership. The mission and values is to transform business education to create leaders who honor individual dignity, demonstrate the courage to care for others, and work toward shared wellbeing on a healthy planet.

IECO has a partnership agreement with the Abigail Adams Institute (AAI). Since its foundation in 2004, this academic Institute is devoted to provide a complementary humanistic education to students at Harvard University and young professionals in the area of Cambridge (Boston). The activities organized by the AAI consist on promoting the intellectual life of the students and on deepening on those matters of humanistic development that transcend the limits of academic disciplines.

As of 2005, the AAI is one of the co-organizing entities and supporters of the IECO RCC-Harvard International Colloquiums. The purpose of these colloquiums is to gather prominent academics and professionals to shed a light on what is needed nowadays when promoting healthy and efficient work environments.


The IECO Institute and Tatiana Pérez de Guzmán el Bueno Foundation have signed a framework collaboration agreement by which they declare their willingness to jointly participate in activities of cooperation, strengthening ties between their members and other programs as part of their core activity. The aim is to move forward together towards the development of a humanistic learning and human flourishing formation for the next generation of civic leaders.

The Abiagil Adams Institute has also joined this agreement with the aim of building bridges between European and American educational institutions.

 


IECO is associated with the International Humanistic Management Association (IHMA), which brings together different investigators, professionals and civil society leaders interested in promoting and practicing a humanistic business management and leadership. The mission and values of humanistic management on worldwide level promote the inherent value of those who protect human dignity, focusing on human flourishing.

IECO has a partnership agreement with the Real Colegio Complutense (RCC), at Harvard which was created by the Complutense University of Madrid and Harvard University to facilitate Spanish research in the Boston, Mass., area. The RCC is located on the Harvard University campus. Under this agreement, IECO and RCC work together to arrange training for professionals and academics.

Since 2014,  RCC is one of the main co-organization entities of the IECO RCC-Harvard International Colloquiums. The purpose of these colloquiums is to gather prominent academics and professionals to shed a light on what is needed nowadays when promoting healthy and efficient work environments.


IECO has a partnership agreement with the University of Navarra through the Department of Education for conducting research projects in school organization and management and school leadership.


As an IECO sponsor, the COSO Foundation has a partnership agreement with the Polytechnic University of Valencia for cooperation in staff training, scientific research, technological development, the exchange of experts and educational cooperation programs.


As an IECO sponsor, the COSO Foundation has a framework partnership agreement with the University of Valencia – Estudi General for carrying out joint research and development projects and programs through IECO, cooperation in training for research staff and mutual advisory services. Under a subsequent specific agreement, Professor Manuel Guillén from the “Juan José Renau Piqueras” Department of Business Administration at the University of Valencia was appointed as IECO’s Academic Director.


To promote research into business ethics and corporate social responsibility, IECO has established a partnership agreement with the W.Michael Hoffman Center for Business Ethics at Bentley University. This includes making their facilities mutually accessible to post-doctoral students and PhD candidates as visiting scholars.
