Jean Pierre Peinado

Jean Pierre Peinado, a Spanish-Venezuelan engineer, is a consultant with more than 15 years of experience in negotiation and agreements at an international level, mainly in the energy and mining sectors. His experience comes from roles in industrial plant projects, commercial and contract management, purchasing, and client management.

Jean Pierre is a Production Engineer (Industrial Organization) from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, holds a Master in Project Management from the Center for Advanced Technique Studies in Asturias, and an Executive MBA part of the TICAL Program from EOI in Madrid. Passionate and committed to Negotiation and Mediation, he has participated in three programs from Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation: The Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Seminar, the Advanced Negotiation Master Class and the Mediation and Conflict Management Seminar.

He has lived in Venezuela, the United States, Peru and, since 2011, has made Spain his home. His occupations have taken him to more than 20 countries around the world, and have provided him with valuable cultural learning in the creation of agreements.

Currently, Jean Pierre is dedicated to consulting and training in conflict resolution. He works with academic and private institutions in Europe to develop educational content and innovative humanistic publications. Likewise, he researches and writes on the management of failure, defeat and loss processes in the context of professional and personal life.

He is a firm believer in principled negotiation and has mediated complex situations of diverse nature. He strives to develop his vocation as a Peace-building engineer and shapes his profession around continuous, honest and enriching learning.
