[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Valencian professor Manuel Guill\u00e9n (founder and director of IECO and the IECO-UV Business Ethics Chair), has organised next week a meeting of executives and entrepreneurs at the Real Colegio Complutense of Harvard, with the aim of promoting the humanistic approach of management in business institutions and organisations.<\/p>\n
Professor Guill\u00e9n as a representative of the University of Valencia in the RCC-Harvard and a driving force of the Humanistic Management movement in Spain, has gathered in this international workshop a group of businessmen among which are directors and owners of companies such as RNB Cosmetics, Royo Group, Guzm\u00e1n Global, Bella Aurora, Invext Corporation, The Clorox Company, Barry-Wehmiller <\/strong>and Be-Up,<\/strong> as well as heads of institutions like MIT Sloan School of Management, Harvard Business School, IEE Leadership School <\/strong>or Massachusetts Department of Revenue.<\/strong><\/p>\n The meeting, organised in collaboration with the International Humanistic Management Association (IHMA) and the Abigail Adams Institute of Cambridge, will start on Monday 2nd<\/sup> May after the welcome of the director of the RCC of Harvard, Daniel S\u00e1nchez, <\/strong>and the presentations made by Manuel Guill\u00e9n and Michael Pirson (co-founder of the IHMA), who will give way to the practical seminar on the value of human dignity in the organizations given by Donna Hicks (professor of the University of Harvard, an expert in solving international conflicts and author of the bestseller \u201cLeading with Dignity\u201d).<\/p>\n On Tuesday 3rd<\/sup> May, it will take place a second practical seminar on how to promote a complete development of people in organisations delivered by Mathew T. Lee <\/strong>(professor of the department of Sociology at Harvard). After his intervention, Bob Chapman, <\/strong>president of one of the most important engineering multinationals worldwide (Barry-Wehmiller), will share his personal experience on how to apply these principles that the humanistic management is based on. Chapman is the co-author along with Raj Sisodia <\/strong>of the book \u201cEveryone Matters\u201d, with which he has become the CEO of reference for the Humanistic Business Management.<\/p>\n Finally, on Wednesday 4th<\/sup> Rashad Badr <\/strong>(co-founder of Optimal Work<\/em>), will be focusing on how to improve productivity and effectiveness of enterprises by promoting a more human and meaningful way of working.
