The Congress was held in San Sebastian on May 23 and 24, 2014. ISSA teaches the University\u2019s Management Assistant degree and in recent years has been a partner in numerous international agreements.<\/p>\n<p>ISSA invited IECO Director\u00a0<strong>Manuel Guill\u00e9n<\/strong>\u00a0to speak at the round table \u201cTraining and Personal Development in the Workplace\u201d on this special day. It was a propitious occasion to present the IECO matrix of moral and spiritual motivation as a means of encouraging personal development in the workplace since the matrix identifies ways that have not yet been theoretically explored to any significant extent.<\/p>\n<p>Other speakers at the round table included\u00a0<strong>Esteban Garc\u00eda Canal<\/strong>, Professor of Management at the University of Oviedo;\u00a0<strong>Est\u00edbaliz Ortiz<\/strong>, Professor of People Management at Pompeu Fabra University, and\u00a0<strong>Carolina Ugarte<\/strong>, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the University of Navarre. The symposium opened with the talk \u201cCultivating cultural competences for a better world\u201d by\u00a0<strong>Yih-Teen Lee<\/strong>, Associate Professor of People Management in Organizations at IESE Business School.
