[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Valencian professor Manuel Guillén (founder and director of IECO and the IECO-UV Business Ethics Chair), has organised next week a meeting of executives and entrepreneurs at the Real Colegio Complutense of Harvard, with the aim of promoting the humanistic approach of management in business institutions and organisations.

Professor Guillén as a representative of the University of Valencia in the RCC-Harvard and a driving force of the Humanistic Management movement in Spain, has gathered in this international workshop a group of businessmen among which are directors and owners of companies such as RNB Cosmetics, Royo Group, Guzmán Global, Bella Aurora, Invext Corporation, The Clorox Company, Barry-Wehmiller and Be-Up, as well as heads of institutions like MIT Sloan School of Management, Harvard Business School, IEE Leadership School or Massachusetts Department of Revenue.

The meeting, organised in collaboration with the International Humanistic Management Association (IHMA) and the Abigail Adams Institute of Cambridge, will start on Monday 2nd May after the welcome of the director of the RCC of Harvard, Daniel Sánchez, and the presentations made by Manuel Guillén and Michael Pirson (co-founder of the IHMA), who will give way to the practical seminar on the value of human dignity in the organizations given by Donna Hicks (professor of the University of Harvard, an expert in solving international conflicts and author of the bestseller “Leading with Dignity”).

On Tuesday 3rd May, it will take place a second practical seminar on how to promote a complete development of people in organisations delivered by Mathew T. Lee (professor of the department of Sociology at Harvard). After his intervention, Bob Chapman, president of one of the most important engineering multinationals worldwide (Barry-Wehmiller), will share his personal experience on how to apply these principles that the humanistic management is based on. Chapman is the co-author along with Raj Sisodia of the book “Everyone Matters”, with which he has become the CEO of reference for the Humanistic Business Management.

Finally, on Wednesday 4th Rashad Badr (co-founder of Optimal Work), will be focusing on how to improve productivity and effectiveness of enterprises by promoting a more human and meaningful way of working. The seminar will end with the development of the didactic workshop called Humanistic Management Co-Creation Lab conducted by Danilo Petranovich (director of the Abigail Adams Institute) and Pilar Jericó (consultant and president of Be-up), which will serve as the basis for the drafting of the Decalogue of good practices in favour of Humanistic Management of Companies that will be signed by the IHMA and that IECO will publish so that all institutions and companies wishing to implement it in their organisations can accede to it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes”][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_btn title=”NOTICIA EN PRENSA – LEVANTE EMV” color=”inverse” i_icon_fontawesome=”fas fa-glasses” add_icon=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.levante-emv.com%2Feconomia%2F2022%2F04%2F29%2Fieco-universitat-valencia-promueve-harvard-65552506.html|target:_blank”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_btn title=”NOTICIA EN PRENSA – LA RAZÓN” color=”inverse” i_icon_fontawesome=”fas fa-glasses” add_icon=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.larazon.es%2Fcomunidad-valenciana%2F20220429%2Fyi4cpckjwbetzbef3k3wwjizly.html|target:_blank”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_btn title=”NOTICIA EN PRENSA – ABC.ES” color=”inverse” i_icon_fontawesome=”fas fa-glasses” add_icon=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.abc.es%2Fespana%2Fcomunidad-valenciana%2Fabci-ieco-universidad-valencia-promueve-harvard-decalogo-favor-direccion-humanista-empresas-202204291217_noticia.html|target:_blank”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
